Since August 2022, I’m working as a Project Manager for CartONG, a French NGO specialised in Information Management. I’m part of the Mobile Data Collection & Information Management team. I’m working on IM/MDC for various NGOs and development agencies, focusing on data collection, analysis and visualisation through dashboards.

For the first part of 2022 I worked as project coordinator (a community garden for seeds production project) for Grainaille, a community seed bank in Jax (Haute-Loire, France). You can read more about the project (in French) here. I also worked on redesigning from the ground up the seed bank’s database to keep track of the 200 varieties of Open-Pollinated managed by the organisation.

I’ve organised and facilitated a webinar on ‘The central role of peasants’ seeds in the Agroecological transition’ in October 2021.
It took place during the ‘Month of Agroecology‘ organised by Agroecology Europe. You can view the recording here.

I’m also working from time to time as a data analysis consultant for two projects for the ‘Centre for Development Innovation‘ a research institute based at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. One study is on the economies of scale and impacts of ‘Local Seed Businesses’ in Ethiopia, Uganda and Myanmar and the other is a ‘Seed Social Network Analysis‘ on the seeds exchanges between farmers and refugees in South Sudan.

From July to December 2020, I worked as coordinator for Graines de NoƩ, a French community seed bank that maintains over 200 farmers wheat varieties and works on maintaining cultivated biodiversity in the fields.

Previously I worked in the Gorgol region of Mauritania, as project coordinator for Cerai (Centro de Estudios Rurales y de Agricultura Internacional) a Spanish NGO. I coordinated two rural development projects aimed at promoting a diversified, sustainable, inclusive and participatory development through integration projects between agriculture and livestock based on the principles of agroecology and food sovereignty.
