Hello. I’m Christophe.
I’m a GIS and Geospatial Data Analyst currently based in France. Drawing on my diverse professional experiences, I bring together a unique blend of knowledge and expertise. My ability to bridge distinct fields is a major strength. The value I can bring to projects and organisations lies not in any single field, but at the intersection of different areas of activity.
Over the years I’ve studied various topics: multimedia, Human Geography (BSc), Organic Agriculture (MSc), Agroecology (MSc), GIS and Spatial Analysis (University Diploma).
During my last role (with CartONG – cartong.org), I worked as an Information Management Officer, working on projects centered around data management and geospatial data, building analysis tools, dashboards, and maps for the Humanitarian sector.
What motivates me most is to find applicable and manageable solutions using multi-disciplinary knowledge and participatory methods, working with people from different fields and different walks of life.
I have had a previous career as an Agroecologist where I worked on the agroecological development and design of farming systems, especially informal seed systems, biodiversity and soil health. I have also worked with social enterprises. I have managed projects and people and have been running my consulting business for over 10 years.
On a more personal side, I love Yoga, running, rock climbing and hiking. If by any chance I am able to do those while traveling, I’m happy. I have lived, studied and worked in 7 countries and on 4 continents and thoroughly enjoy learning about new cultures.
